November 26th- Community Thanksgiving Free Dinner

Thank you Lyons Inter Church Council for providing this Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner for the Lyons Community.  The new location for this dinner is the Lyons Community Center at 9 Manhattan Street, Lyons NY 14489.  If any questions please call 315-946-3315.  Home bound dinners are an option but only at 3 pm and must sign up by November 22nd by calling the number above.  Hosted by St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

Lyons Farmers Market

 

Longest running Farmers Market in Wayne County with 45 years!

Lyons Farmers Market is the longest running market in Wayne County.  The Market runs on Saturdays from June 15th till the last Saturday in October and opens everyday from 7:30am until noon.  Just follow all the giggles, sweet aroma of fried dough and the sights of colorful flowers and vegetables to Central Park Lyons, NY.  (For map Quest directions Click Here!)  Be sure to Follow our Facebook page to stay up to date on each weeks activity!

Saturday September 7th was Garlic Day!  Thank you to everyone who participated and all the hard work our vendors did to make an amazing “Garlic Day”!  We had garlic games (or I should say garlic races!), special garlic vendors, David Stern (founder of the garlic associations) giving garlic braiding demonstration, two food trucks serving garlic tacos and garlic bacon and much more!  If you missed it you truly missed out…. but don’t worry we will be doing it again next year!   Here is a look at what you missed…

Located at Grace Episcopal Church on 7 Phelps Street, Lyons NY.  From 10 am until 2 pm.

and tell them you’d like to donate them to Lyons Main Street Program/ Lyons Chamber of Commerce and TaDa!  All done!  We would like to Thank Hometown Bottle & Can Return for helping us with this fundraiser.  Some of the things that the funds will be going towards are
