Saturday September 7th was Garlic Day!  Thank you to everyone who participated and all the hard work our vendors did to make an amazing “Garlic Day”!  We had garlic games (or I should say garlic races!), special garlic vendors, David Stern (founder of the garlic associations) giving garlic braiding demonstration, two food trucks serving garlic tacos and garlic bacon and much more!  If you missed it you truly missed out…. but don’t worry we will be doing it again next year!   Here is a look at what you missed…

“This year, the Lyons Main Street Program/ Lyons Chamber of Commerce are offering a challenge: ‘Beautiful Bright Blooms’ yard and garden challenge.  Join the challenge, get those great yards & gardens filled with ‘Beautiful Bright Blooms’.  When you see a pretty colorful or unique yard/garden, or business, send us the address.  It can be yours, your neighbor’s or someplace you noticed as you drove by.  We will post a recognition sign and include a picture (with their permission, of course) to be included in our Lyons Outlet article.  To join the challenge with your ‘Beautiful Bright Blooms’ nominations, you can contact us at lyonsmainstreetprogram@gmail.com, lyonsny.com, or just stop in at 70 William Street”
